There’s no server to pay for

SideDock is a Mac app that works on your Mac. There’s no account, no sync service, no cloud storing your docks. Your settings, notes and Pip’s chats live in SideDock’s folder on your Mac. With nothing to keep running on our side, a monthly fee would just be rent.

Pip uses the AI you already have

The one thing that could cost money every month is AI, and Pip uses the account you already pay for, with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Google, or Hermes on your own Mac. So there’s no Pip subscription stacked on top of the one you have.
